My Favorite Project to Date

Since we started, I have had the privilege of working on many exciting and challenging projects. However, the project that stands out as my favorite is one that we currently have in progress—a Genesis dealership with Charles Morgan Group in Mesquite, Texas.

This project is special for several reasons. Firstly, this is the biggest project we have taken on to date. At first, we communicated our concerns about this project being too big for us, but when the other glazing company fell through, we stepped up to the challenge. It stretched us beyond our comfort zone. There were many late nights and early morning phone calls, but we stayed true to our founding principles—and they’ve proven invaluable in overcoming challenges. Early, consistent communication and a spirit of partnership have made this project a true privilege.

This project seemed out of our reach for a few reasons. First, it features a cassette curtain wall system that we had not done before. This type of system is complex and requires careful planning and execution. I have to hand it to our operations team. They put in the mental work ahead of time to be ready for installation by sitting down, planning the work and working the plan. Second, this type of curtain wall system is not common. Thanks to our manufacturers and suppliers going above and beyond, we met our delivery timelines. 

The general contractor's trust in our ability to execute this challenging project has been invaluable. They recognized the complexities involved and demonstrated confidence in our team's expertise and dedication. This level of trust fostered a collaborative environment where we are able to have direct conversations that led to a successful start. 

As we move closer to the completion of this project, I'm filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. It's a testament to the skill, dedication, and resilience of our team. We've faced numerous challenges along the way, but we've overcome them through hard work, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. This project will undoubtedly serve as a highlight in our company's portfolio, showcasing our ability to handle large-scale, complex projects and deliver exceptional results.

This project has reinforced my conviction about building strong relationships with clients and partners. The trust and collaboration we've established with the general contractor have been instrumental in the project's success. We believe that these relationships are the foundation of our business, and we're committed to nurturing them through open communication, transparency, and a focus on delivering exceptional value.

As we look to the future, we're excited to take on new challenges and continue to grow as a company. We're confident that our team's expertise, dedication, and commitment to excellence will enable us to tackle any project that comes our way.
